Team work and collaboration to me have been the greatest asset of my involvment as part of the Learning Technology Team. We have come a long way since the initial ‘idea’ evolved and have since became a very successful team endeavouring to support staff in learning new tools that can be integrated into teaching, learning and assessment.

Through awareness raising there has been a steady increase in more flexible delivery espeically with the use of Moodle and other Web2 tools that can be integrated into Moodle to enhance learning. This has included podcasts, vodcasts, video, slideshows, the use of camera glasses, etc. Connecting with Y generation involves using the technologies that are ‘everyday’ to them.

I am excited, but somewhat overwhelmed, by what is ahead as technology moves so rapidly. Keeping pace is an enormous challenge but I want to know more!
